The Hard Rock Cafe Detroit located downtown detroit michigan opened in the fall of 2003, Detroit finally made the list of over 100 cities worldwide to have a Hard Rock Cafe, The original Hard Rock Cafe opened in London, England back in 1971, by 1985 they had three locations and started opening more, I was able to visit the London one back in 85, and visited San Francisco a couple years later.
The Cafe is best known for its unique appeal, the one in San Francisco had half of a car sticking through the wall and I believe the London one did as well although its been almost 20 years. Also its best known for its music memorabilia,
with musical instruments, clothes and other items from musicians from the past, your sure to get an eye full with your visit here and don't forget to pick up your official Hard Rock Cafe shirt while your there as well.
The Hard Rock Cafe Detroit can be found in the Compuware building at Woodward and Monroe, parking is avaliable in the Compuware parking structure.
