Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) Detroit Michigan

Founded in 1914, the DSO had its first opening performance on Feburary 26, 1914 at the Detroit Opera House, they continued playing there until Oct, 3rd 1919, when they moved into the newly built Orchestra Hall, the hall has recieved a couple renovations in the past and at one time was about to be demolished until the money was raised to restore it, Recently (2003) the hall just underwent its most recent renovation and this time they are even changing the name to the Max M.
